Truly, it is hard for me to figure out how to sell a thousand books, especially when my Mennonite background tells me 'not to blow my own horn', and 'the meek shall inherit the earth." I don't think quiet and meek will pay the bills. And I do think this is a good book. So how do I do this?
My son told me it's easy, I should just say; "Buy my books, I need monies!" He told me this in his "I know this is laughable" voice. If only it worked!
I guess I'll learn as I go, talk to other authors, listen to my publisher's advice, try things, and simply believe in the story.
Got any advice for a bunny salesperson who wants to learn to sell books? (Ember wants the boxes to stay home.)
